Shanghai Telecom invests 42.5 mln yuan to build industrial park - official

Date-Time: 2003-8-1 15:07:56 BEIJING (XFN) - Shanghai Telecom, a subsidiary of China Telecom Corp Ltd (HK 0728; ADR CHA), recently invested 42.5 mln yuan to build Shanghai Telecom Nanxiang Industrial Park, covering an area of 54,000 sq m, an official with Shanghai Telecom told XFN. Zheng Jianping said the company aims to make the Shanghai industrial park a production base within three to five years for plate processing, research and development of telecom products, and cable manufacturing.
