Vancouver shopping street

Vancouver boasted a number of unique shops and eateries. For example, Kitsilano was one of the most popular spot uptown. It contained numerous shops which could fee any sudden attacks of shopping frenzy.

Sport shops in Kitsilano could surely fulfill any need of those who fancied outdoor sports. Fans of euro furniture should go to the shop on 1854 West 4th Avenue which specialize in euro productions. A swimming suitestore at 2950 West 4th named "Splash" had women swimming suites of all
sizes, shapes and colors. There were many special mineral shops in Vancouver, such as the "Crystalworks Gallery" at West 5th Avenue.

"Gill & Co" at 303 West 7th Avenue, a boutique of cotton wares, sold all kinds of pure cotton goods, pajamas, dry goods in agreeable light yellow and snow white colors. Those who adored silver and gold might want to skip
down to "Curvin's Jewellers" which established its fifty years long history at 2936 West Broadway. The 14K and 18K silver ornaments favored by Asian people were in abundance in "Curvin's Jewellers". Decent design and acceptable
prices made "Curvin's Jewellers" successful for over half a century.

Vancouver had as many international cuisine as there were Asian countries. An Indian restaurant called "India Grill" served maigre menu special for the vegetarian. Why not try the spartan cuisine if one gets tired of oily fast foods?
Besides vegetarian foods, "India Grill" offered other foods at your choice. Another gourmet hangout was "Las Maragritas", a Mexico restaurant located at 1999 West 4th. Simple but innovative cuisine in Mexico style lured many repeat licustomers.

Russian food was not so familiar to Asians as Mexican food. Yet "Rasputin" at 457 West Broad featured live concerts and Russian dishes, a combination which made it a hotspot.

Apart from the aforementioned, children bookstore, soap grocery, bakery and cafe on West Broadway were also worth a visit.
