TAX
New Hampshire offers one of the lowest tax burdens in the country for
business owners and employees. Our state features no personal state income
tax or use tax, no general sales tax, no capital gains tax, inventory
tax, or property tax on machinery or equipment, and one of the country's
lowest unemployment and workers' compensation tax rates. There are taxes
on an individual's interest and dividends income, inheritance, business
taxes, consumer excise taxes and other taxes.
