Located in the southeastern part of Heilongjiang Province. Mudanjiang Municipality is an important tourist city in Northeast China. Endowed with an abundant tourist resources, it encompasses four cities (Hailin, Ning'an,Muling, Suifenhe) and two counties (Linkou and Dongning). The major scenic spots include the Jingpo Lake, Lotus Lake, Peony Peak, Volcano Forest, the site of Bohai Kingdom, Snow Land at Linhai and the Movie & TV shooting City on Weihu Mountains.
