As a dependant state of the central government of the Tang Dynasty (618-907AD). the Bohai Kingdom existed from 698 to 926 AD and was a prosperous state.

Longquanfu (dragon spring imperial court) was then the second-largest city in Asia. Now over 1,200 years later, we can still see remains of its city walls, palaces. streets and bridges. Among the numerous cultural relics, the stone lamp post is the mom outstanding and best kept.
