The capital city of Heilongjiang Province, Harbin
is the biggest urban center of the northern part of
northeast China and a major tourist city. Its dishes
evolve out of the original northeast China cuisine.
The most famous ones include the Fish Feast made of
local luxurious fish produced in the Heilongjiang River,
and the Flying Dragon Feast made of pheasants. Due to
its neighbor Russia's influence, the local dwellers
also prefer Russian-style food. |
